Senior Adults
Mature members of our congregation are , of course, welcomed in any of any of our adult ensembles, but there are two additional groups just for you. These groups rehearse during the day and do a fantastic job of enjoying God, enjoying music, and enjoying each other. They also share their gifts with those in the community on a regular basis.
Sing
Silver Bucket Singers-meet on Mondays from 1:30-2:30pm, September through May. This group sings “just because we like to” and because we enjoy sharing our music with others. Skill level is not important — but loving to sing and enjoying good fellowship is! This group is easy to join and welcomes visitors any time.
Ring
Prime Chimers-meet on Thursdays from 1:00-2:00pm, September through May. Ringing hand chimes is new to most older adults, so prior experience is not required. However, reading music — at least the rhythms — is very helpful. If a new challenge, good fellowship, and sharing music with others appeals to you — this is your group! We always look for new people to begin learning to chime!
